Freading, a service provided by the library, allows users to transfer e-books to a variety of portable devices by using a personal computer or by dowloading an app to a tablet such as an iPad or a Kindle Fire. One difference between Freading and OverDrive is that Freading titles are always available--no waiting lists.

Included are over 8,000 full text magazines and journals, over 1,500 newspapers and newswires, and approximately 6,800 full text books. Full text articles are taken from 2,900 historical newspaper titles.
